Kebaya's design for the traditional brocade wedding.
Kebaya is usually made of thin material or embroidered brocade, worn with a sarong, batik cloth weaving or other traditional motifs such as songkets with colors. Kebaya, believed to come from China adapts clothing, which spread to Malacca, Java, Bali, Sumatra and Sulawesi. Kebaya finally accepted by the local culture and norms through the process after acculturation lasting hundreds of years.
